The Wildlife Trust of South and West Wales is inviting you to adopt a species and help us to make a difference to the wildlife and wild places in South and West Wales. Why not give an adoption as an unusual gift to family, friends or loved ones? Choose from Protect a Puffin, Defend a Dormouse, Adopt-an-Otter, Rescue-a-Red Squirrel or Save-a-Seal.
Adoptees receive an adoption gift pack containing:
· A welcome letter
· A personalised adoption certificate
· A fact sheet about the adopted species
· Soft toy
· In addition, puffin adoptions also receive a pin badge.
Once a year you will receive a report on the adopted animal and, where puffins are concerned, we will endeavour to tell you whether or not your puffin has been sighted during the previous year (puffins are ringed as part of our field studies so are easily identifiable).
If you are giving the adoption as a gift, please make sure that you put the recipients name in the 'delivery address' box to ensure that the certificate is in the correct name. The adoption pack should be received within 7 working days of order. For further enquiries please call: 01656 724100 or email membership@welshwildlife.org

Otters once faced extinction in South and West Wales and are still very much under threat. Today this decline is reversing due to the efforts of the Trust and partners in maintaining and improving wetland habitats, speaking out against threats from development and creating river corridors suitable for otters.
